Who we are

Normandyvisit.com helps families plan visits to the places in Normandy where their relatives served in the Second World War. If you have questions about this policy or your information, email cgerry@kaytorgroup.com.

What we collect

When you send a request for information, we collect your name and email address, plus anything you choose to tell us: what interests you, and any notes such as a soldier's name or unit, when you hope to travel, or how many people are coming. We do not take payment details on this site.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your request and, if you ask us to, to research your family member's service and suggest tour or trip options. We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to a marketing newsletter.

Our legal basis

We process your information with your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on our form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us.

Where it is stored

Requests are stored by Squarespace, which hosts this website, and copied to a Google Sheet we use to keep track of replies. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms, and may store it outside your country, including in the United States.

Who we share it with

If you ask us to arrange a guided visit, we will share the details needed with the local guide who will lead it, and only after you agree. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your request for as long as we need it to respond and help plan your visit. After that we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email cgerry@kaytorgroup.com.

Cookies

Squarespace sets cookies needed to run this website, protect our form from spam (Google reCAPTCHA) and measure basic site traffic.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
